The new heavy-duty BYD ECB 70/80 is BYDs flagship high-capacity forklift that extends the capabilities already established by its 5-tonne model to unprecedented new levels for lithium-powered forklifts. In industry sectors traditionally dominated by polluting diesel trucks and impractical and unwieldy lead acid battery electric forklifts, BYDs attractive new ECB70/80, with lifting capacities up to 8 tonnes, offers all of the performance of the models it supplants with none of the drawbacks.
Compared to a diesel-powered forklift of similar capacity, the BYD ECB70/80 offers potentially huge savings thanks to its highly developed battery and charger technology. The BYD ECB70/80 is approximately €7-€8 per hour cheaper to operate than a diesel equivalent (according to data provided by competitors), meaning a typical business operating a high-capacity forklift for 2,000 hours can save up to €16,000 annually.
